PENCIL BOX - HAROLD JONES YELLOW
This is a hand-built box 21 cm x 8 cm, and 3cm deep. The lid is made of a crisp board and has a magnetic closure so it shuts with a pleasing 'clack'. Every effort has been made to ensure pattern matching in the construction, where practicable.
Cover paper is by Harold Jones, (1904 – 1992), originally created as an endpaper for The Compass Points North by M E Atkinson (1938). Reproduced by Judd Street Gallery in two colourways, or which this is the yellow colour.
