The cover is a design by Enid Marx (1902-1998), a leading artist, designer, writer and collector. The design was published from Enid Marx’s original wood engraving by Judd Street Gallery.

Judd Street Gallery papers are published by artist and art historian Alan Powers. While many of the patterns are by artists who had Curwen Press connections, these designs were not ever produced as papers by Curwen. Most of the Judd Street Gallery papers are happily still in print and you can buy them from JuddStreetPaper on Etsy.
