Journal 18 cm wide by 24 cm tall, with pages of smooth ivory writing paper and satin ribbon place marker. 

The sides are a beautiful contemporary paste paper by German artist Susanne Krause, who is an authority on this style of paper decoration and has a wide knowledge of its history. 

The book is sewn and bound by hand with a goatskin spine.
