Covers are a paper 'parquet' created by laying strips of paper side by side, not overlapping, to create a new smooth sheet from multiple pieces. You may recognize fragments of  familiar designs which I use on my other bindings. This method means there is only one book of this particular parquet combination.  (Book D)
