Double-sided concertina sketchbook. 38 panels of 200 gsm acid-free ivory cartridge. 

The double-sided structure means that you can use both sides of the panel without the work showing through onto the other side. The book is made using a traditional Japanese method of repeated overlapping sheets (not from one continuous folded sheet.)

Covers are a paper 'parquet' created by laying strips of paper side by side, not overlapping, to create a new smooth sheet from multiple pieces. You may recognize fragments of  familiar designs which I use on my other bindings. This method means there is only one book of this particular parquet combination. 

The book comes with a light-weight cloth-covered slipcase.
