The book is made using a traditional Japanese method of repeated overlapping sheets (not from one continuous folded sheet). The double-sided structure means that you can use both sides of the panels without your work showing through on the other side. 

The concertina comes with a light-weight slipcase. 

Covers are a paper 'parquet' created by laying strips of paper side by side, not overlapping, to create a new smooth sheet from multiple pieces. All the decorated papers are by Cambridge Imprint.
