The book is made using a traditional Japanese method of repeated overlapping sheets (not from one continuous folded sheet). The double-sided structure means that you can use both sides of the panels without your work showing through on the other side. 

The concertina comes with a light-weight navy slipcase. 

Cover bookcloth has been made from an original piece of Dutch Java Cloth. This is a patterned fabric produced by Vlisco, inspired by traditional Javanese batik designs.
